A days walking tour of Guadalajara and Tlaquepaque

Today was time from for me to do a walk about in Tlaquepaque, a suburb of Guadalajara and down town Guadalajara itself, and let Ana Lucia get on with some work. What a great place Tlaquepaque is, a haven for arts and crafts - something for everyone at every price. Only problem is how to get some of your new found goodies home!

It was so easy to eat up the whole day just meandering around all the streets, enjoying the sights and of course the weather could not be better. If you have a chance to go it is really worth it....but bring your wallet.

Ana Lucia was able to squeeze in lunch with me (at 4.00pm!) which we had at a great restaurant in Tlaquepaque - no Tequila today, well not at lunch - I manged to squeeze one in earlier in the day together with a Cream of Tequila...delicious!

Art by a local - Rodo Padilla - loved his stuff

Our lunch stop...
