After booking my luggage through to Guadalajara from Boston I was pleasantly surprised to find it waiting for me on arrival...and that was after stops at Dallas, San Jose del Cabo and an unknown stop en-route for Guadalajara from San Jose del Cabo where I went to get off the plane and was told it was the next stop - obviously I have forgotten how to travel.
Monday November 2nd is also a public holiday in Mexico to celebrate the Hanál Pixán / Day of the Dead, where everyone celebrates the return of the dead each year - (http://www.yucatanliving.com/daily-life/day-of-the-dead-2008.htm) but even this did not get in the way of my luggage.
Disaster #2 nearly struck as Ana Lucia thought I was arriving the next day, but luckily she got the e-mail Jane sent while I was in Dallas saying that I would be on time...lucky Leachy vibes are looking good. Late dinner at a great local Mexican called Los Otates - and to bed exhausted!
